Tammi Flynn is a registered dietitian with a master's degree in nutrition science from Texas A&M University. She is also the author of The 3-Apple-a-Day Plan: Your Foundation for Permanent Fat Loss. She recently received a certification in Sports Nutrition and is now a Certified Specialist in Sports Nutrition, CSSD.
With more than 20 years' experience in the health and fitness industry, Tammi has helped hundreds of clients find a sense of peace and control over exercise, nutrition and weight loss. With her latest certification, she is working with local hockey and soccer teams for optimizing energy on and off the fields/ice.
Tammi's interest in nutritional food and its effect on good health had also inspired her to open a successful, low-fat bakery, where she developed many of the recipes in her book.
Tammi is also an accomplished body builder, placing 2nd place in the 2004 Team Universe in New York and 3rd place in the 2000 USA Nationals in Las Vegas. She is an avid sports enthusiast (ice hockey, soccer, cycling and running) and a proud mother of four. Her fourth child, now three was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in which has added even more need for nutrition education and development.
